Porsche 911 2.4E
Now in stock at Specialist Cars Of Malton we have this stunning metallic blue 1973 Porsche 911 2.4E with just – 75683 miles on the clock with matching numbers.
Porsche produced the 911E from 1968 to 1973, (B-Series to E-Series) replacing the 911 (Lux), and it was designed to be the most comfortable and drivable of the 911 range fitting neatly between the 911T (Touring) and the 911S (Super). The designation ‘E’ came from the German for injection: Einspritzung. The mechanical fuel injection system (MFI) was developed jointly by Bosch and Porsche to be used on the 911E and the 911S and resulted in more power, better drivability, and a cleaner running engine. In 1972 the 911E (E-Series) benefitted from a larger engine (2341cc) and the stronger 915 gearbox, and in 1973 the front spoiler from the 911S became standard.
Offered here is a French-supplied, Porsche 2.4 911E now registered as a UK car. Finished in its original metallic blue with black interior. In great useable condition and a great investment with the 2.4S driving prices upwards. 911Es in this condition rarely come to market and we urge you to come and view this car in person.
