The first thing when you think about Porsche is the iconic 911. After the succession of the high anticipated Porsche 356, Porsche decided that they wanted to be created an everyday car, which saw the introduction of the Porsche 911. The 911 is a timeless car that has been revived over 55 years. The 911 is well known for its rear-engined layout which has redefined the shape and future for the 911 and Porsche to that matter. The 911 S stands for ‘super’ which meant it gave the 911 160BHP as well as rear anti-roll bar and adjustable Koni dampers. It was the lightweight version of the 911. The engine lid and rear bumper were replaced with aluminium seats, and lightweight seats were installed for a “race-ready” package.
In stock now is this stunning impact-bumper 2.7S that benefits from being one of the first models that Porsche treated to galvanising, whilst still retaining its ‘brightwork’ door frames etc. (rather than the later black) – plaid (tartan) seats and sunroof. The car was featured in the August 2016 issue of GT Porsche magazine where it received very favourable comments from the writer.
