In July 2014 the car went into Project Nine Engineering to diagnose a misfire. Upon investigation it was discovered that the engine had suffered from scored bores. The engine was then rebuilt with new parts as required including an upgraded IMS bearing, at a cost of £9783.44.
Other recent upgrades include four new tyres, new clutch and slave cylinder (less than 3000 miles since), air conditioning radiators, LED daytime running lights were fitted, H&R suspension, a BMC air filter and induction kit.
