In stock now is this pretty little Citroen 2CV Charleston. First registered in November 1987 on an E registration the car has covered just 1000 miles since a stunningly thorough nut and bolt restoration by respected marque specialists, Frome 2CV Centre.
The restoration included taking the bodywork back to the bare metal, shot blasting it, zinc primed, seam sealed, undersealed and then painted (3 coats of undercoat followed by 3 coats of paint). A new chassis was built and all the running gear overhauled including wheel bearings, king pins, shock absorbers, new brakes (shoes, pads, disks, wheel cylinders, rebuilt front callipers, new brake pipes) reconditioned steering rack, coil starter motor, alternator, fuel line, fuel tank sender etc. A reconditioned gearbox was fitted and the engine stripped and rebuilt. In total over £5000 worth of new parts was fitted.
A lovely classic for the summer in outstanding condition.
