In stock now is this crazy Mini Cooper. A 1991 car it has been fitted with a Honda Blackbird fuel injected motorbike engine! Power runs through a Ford Sierra Cosworth differential to the rear wheels.
The engine isn't the only bit that has been worked on, the entire car has been set up to handle the massive power increase, Z cars suspension is fitted all around together with adjustable bottom arms and tie rods, new balljoints and subframe mounts and to make sure the car stops as well as it goes the brakes have been upgraded to Metro Turbo 4 pots at the front with Cosworth callipers at the rear.
Bodywork wise the car is finished in Ford Frozen white, the shell having been sandblasted, etch primed hibuilded before being painted with the two pack paint. The car was fitted with a new front panel, nearside front wing, 2x A panels, rear valance and both doorskins. New 7x13 Minilite alloy wheels complete the exterior look. Inside the car has had new bucket seats, switches, lightweight door cards and furniture, new switches etc.
The level of work and attention to detail is very special indeed.
As you would imagine with an engine developing 160 BHP at the flywheel performance is exhilarating!
