In stock now is this gorgeous Porsche 911 3.0 Carrera Targa. First registered in September 1977 by Glen Henderson Motors in Ayr, Scotland, the car is finished in Grand Prix White with tartan seats with leatherette outers and has covered just 73209 miles from new.
Porsche Classic in Germany confirms the car came specified from new with the following:
058 - Impact bumpers (standard for the period)
395 - Alloy wheels front 6x16, rear 7x16
409 - Sports seats left and right
473 - Front and rear spoiler
474 - Bilstein dampers
568 - Coloured windows
439 - Porsche script black on doors
481 - 5 Speed gearbox
The car has been fitted with a different spoiler and steering wheel although we do have, and can fit if preferred, the original items. Even the original cassette player is present and fitted.
Less than 15,000 miles ago the car had its engine rebuilt for corroded head studs together with replacement chain tensioners.
The three litre Carrera was only sold between 1976 and 1977 and in very low numbers, only 3687 cars worldwide, of which just 1123 were Targas. The UK received a tiny number of these, believed to be less than 30 making this a very collectible car.
