In stock now is this beautiful left hand drive 911 RS/ST conversion. Based on a 1973 911T the car has done just 85796 miles from new and was originally from the USA, a genuine R-Gruppe car.

Starting with a solid original car the US owner stripped the car back to the bare metal and replaced anything that needed work. A factory set of original RS rear arches were correctly butt welded to the rear and then the entire car was repainted its original light yellow, an original 1973 RS colour. When the car was reassembled all new trim, lenses, rubbers, interior pieces, glass and headlining were fitted.

Mechanical wise the engine was rebuilt to a very strong 2.4 S spec with fully rebuilt Weber carburetors. A 7R case was used as well as 2.2S pistons, the cylinder heads custom ported and the 915 gearbox rebuilt. A lot of time and money was spent on the car, the bodyshop bill alone came to $13,000.

The car was then sold to another American owner who spent a further $15,000 perfecting the car. No expense was spared and all work was done to a fanatical level of detail with top quality components. Work included:

All this work was carried out in the last 15,000 miles so the car is fresh and ready to enjoy.

In 2008 our customer imported the car from the USA into the UK where it was UK registered on a correct age related L suffix registration number.

Since coming into the UK the car has been worked upon by Maxted-Page & Prill and ourselves. In 2008 the car was given a thorough service and check over prior to registration, fluids, filters and plugs changed. Then in 2009 the car got a new set of FIA approved Fuchs alloys. Finally in 2010 we serviced and tuned the car, changed the brake pads and front wheel bearings.

With a weight of 2200lbs (just less than a tonne) the car develops 200HP which makes it very quick, nimble and great fun to drive.

The car is available for domestic customers and also ready to be exported anywhere in the world.
