In stock now is this amazing Porsche 911 ST Recreation. Based on a late 1971 (1972 model year) Porsche 911T which has covered just 76020 miles with 3 owners from new the car has been the subject of a stunning no-expense spared build by respected specialists Francis Tuthill Ltd at a cost of £72,935.
Wherever possible Porsche parts have been used unless a superior aftermarket option was available.
Bodywork wise the car is fitted with lightweight ST rear arches, front arches and rear bumper meaning a very lightweight car. It runs on the correct combination of Fuchs alloys at the front and Minilites at the rear.
Engine wise the car is fitted with a Tuthill race / rallye 2.5 litre twin plug engine on Weber 42 IDA carburettors giving a useful 233BHP at 6830RPM and 250Nm of torque at 6170RPM. A K&N air filter is fitted as are SSI heat exchangers.
The car runs fully adjustable exe tc suspension, a very expensive top of the range system. Braking is taken care of by Tuthill 6 pot brakes at the front and 4 pots at the rear with braided brake lines, Tilton balance bar, high performance brake fluid and Ferodo DS2500 high performance brake pads.
Interior wise the car is fitted with a full lightweight interior including lightweight carpets, doorcards, Recaro Pole Position seats with Schrot profi 2" belts and a Prototipo steering wheel. Pedals are a custom build pedal box with dual master cylinder and remote adjuster which is fully adjustable. A full rollcage is fitted.
Importantly the car has its FIA Historic Technical Passport (dated April 2011) valid in racing, hill climbs and rally, in the Competition GT Car category for the H1 1972-1975 period, FIA Class GTS26, appendix K. The MSA HTP number is GB7580. This enables the car to take part in historic events.
