This stunning DB6 has been the subject of a no expense spared restoration taking over three years and many thousands of pounds, the final result is as nice a DB6 as you will find anywhere, it is as good underneath as it is on top.
The car has had one owner since 1970 and comes complete with its handbook, workshop manual and Parts manual.
The original colour is Silver Birch with dark blue trim as it is now. New parts are as follows: prop shaft, radiator, Kenlow fan, all heater and water pipes, all brakes and pipes, callipers, pads, handbrake pads and cables, aeroquip flex's, new reservoirs, servos, master cylinder and slave cylinders, new front loom, re-built dash and clocks, all lights, new roof lining and any other white coverings, rear shelf and other bits to the rear of the car, all of the boot re-furbed, all suspension is new and top of the range Harvey Bailey, telescopic rear conversion, uprated anti-roll bars.
Every bush and bearing has been replaced on the car upgrading where possible, re-built steering rack and new track rods, new screen and all the windows and window frames have been stripped and re-chromed and new seals fitted, new screen finishers and finishers front and back, Aston works electric window conversion.
The body has been stripped completely with all the aluminium removed where necessary to rectify any corrosion on the steel, after rust treatment new aluminium panels have been fitted, new sills, doors, lower wings. It has all been sprayed by Terry Lefley.
The original stereo has been restored and then an MP3 conversion added along with modern speakers. There has been new under body alloy panels made to seal each wing with modern seals fitted, new tyres and wheels with Boroni knock ons. New head lamp covers and glasses. The engine has been done by Head Shop UK, rebuilt block, new liners, 4.2 conversion special pistons, unleaded conversion, vantage valves, new springs, collits, chains, tensioners, new starter, dynamo, distributor re-built, Aston works plugs and leads, carburettor restored by Hudsons, new clutch and fly wheel lightened and balanced, re-built ZF gearbox, oil filter conversion.
